I hadn’t used the crockpot since we moved a few months ago.
[Oh yeah, btw, we are chicken farmers no more. We moved to the "big" city. Which is actually still a "small" town. But it is "big" since the farm was in a city where the population was 1,000. Now we live in a city with a population of about 115,000. Which is teenie when you consider that we used to live in San Diego (population 3 million). Anyways, so yeah, we moved.]
So, I finally broke out the crockpot since it’s too hot to cook. That is my excuse although I don’t cook much the rest of the year even when it’s cooler. I made a completely delicious pulled pork and it was soooo yummy and tender. Super easy recipe can be found here: http://southernfood.about.com/od/pulledporkrecipes/r/cpweekly33.htm. Pork happened to be on sale at the store this week and I bought a chunk big enough so that I could freeze half of it for another time. I used Bullseye BBQ sauce because after some BBQ sauce taste testing, I decided it was my favorite.
It was so tasty that I helped myself to seconds (okay, and thirds too) and so now I must go exercise.

Yum! Pulled pork is so delish!
We love pulled pork and making it in the crock pot is so easy and economical. I hope all is going well in your household.
