Baby Crochet

Here’s a set I crocheted for a dear friend who had her baby boy in May.  He was born on Q’s birthday!  What are the odds?

I am sad that I did not discover this darling Little Button Loafer pattern until my daughter was nearly walking.  I suppose I could do some investigation and use some kind of special yarn or make the sole out of something that has some grip to it.  It’s a great pattern and I was able to follow it even though I am a crochet newbie.

The matching hat is the Wee Beanie pattern by my friend Melissa.
