Buttah

This morning I set out two sticks of butter to soften so that I could bake some cookies.  Not long after, I found one of them like this:

I’m careful about leaving certain things on the counter (like sharp knives), but I never thought a stick of butter would be of any interest to a three [...]

Oh man!

I’m having problems embedding video here. I think it’s because it’s the free version of wordpress.  You can visit this link at Ken’s blog to see T singing a song he learned at his (Christian) preschool.  Pay close attention the last words of the song…
Happy Thanksgiving friends!

Too good to be true

I subscribe to feeds of some “deal” blogs. It can be dangerous because you often come across things on sale that you think you need. On occassion, you can get lucky and see a deal on something that you were planning on buying anyway (baby Q is going to pass the weight limit of her [...]

6 months & cereal

I [...]

Making do

We had some lovely weather over the weekend and after we made T mow the lawn …

(no, not really)
…he enjoyed playing and jumping in the grass piles.

No leaf piles here but he made do with the grass and had a blast doing it.

Burp Love

After Q finishes a bottle and Ken puts her up on his shoulder to burp her, he pats her back and says, “Are you going to give me some burp love?”
(She usually does…)
The other night, Ken was putting T to bed. After stories were read and songs were sung, Ken gently patted and rubbed [...]

Almost Famous

We received a postcard in the mail from Stylized Portraiture advertising their holiday specials. Recognize anyone?

It was so neat to see his picture included on there! Also, Stylized Portraiture did Q’s newborn photos which you can check out here. I know I’m biased but I thought the pictures turned out beautifully.
All these [...]
